Private Investigators Aren’t Just Hired In Books

As you all know, I absolutely love to read. It is one of my all-time favorite things to do and it really is a way that I can wind down after a long, stressful day and give myself a good dose of self-care.

The funny thing about reading is that it takes me away to far off lands and lets me explore and imagine different situations from the comfort of my home. I learn a lot, my imagination runs wild, and it gives me fun scenarios that I play through my head...until I finish the book, of course. For example, there have been many books where I have vividly imagined each scenario and what might happen, but once I know the ending - the final scene of the book - it’s all over.

But, that is not the case for everyone. Some people have those adventures, those horror stories, the romance, and more, that you can find when you are hooked within the pages of a great novel. Sometimes, I have to remind myself that bad situations are not just found in books. It is real life for some.

The horror and mystery books that you find on a shelf might just be close to someone’s actual situation, unfortunately. That almost-too-good love story that ended with infidelity and broken hearts, might be real. The happy family that adventures all over the world - that story that you would just love to live in for one day - might be real.

And I think what opened my eyes to it is all of the theories going on as of late. We live in a world that wants to shelter away from the bad, but sometimes, we need to realize that bad things do happen and sometimes, those bad things happen to good people. I think that just trying to see both sides of every situation is a start when it comes to opening up our eyes and really digging for the truth...but then you have to be prepared.

What do I mean by all of this? I just mean that sometimes, you might read a certain situation that you never imagined before and then once you have read it, you might see that the lesson learned actually applies to your life, or a friend's life.

For example, one thing that I learned from a recent crime-related book is that private investigators are not just hired in books.

There are actually many uses for private investigators that average individuals can benefit from and I just never really thought about it in the past. I did a little more digging and found a great NJ-based company that is a private investigation firm called Cowan Investigations.

Cowan Investigations does not just work with wild crime solving cases that you will only find in books. Instead, they work with real people that are in real situations.

They might work with the business owner that needs to run a background check on an employee, or the mother that wants to ensure that her children are safe with their childcare providers.

They might work with the husband that has lost sleep over worrying about if their wife is cheating on them, or the wife who thinks that she might need to file for divorce and go through a child custody battle.

As you can see, there are many ways to use a private investigator in real life - and I just listed a few. Cowan Investigations can help you with New Jersey computer forensics, alimony investigations, background checks, cohabitation investigations, and more. They are an investigating company that you can trust. Not only is Cowan Investigations led by Bob Cowan, who is the former Chief of the Jersey City Police Department, but on his team he also has many other professionals in the industry.

“Included in the New Jersey Based Cowan Investigations Team is retired Jersey City Police Captain Joe Ascolese, Deputy Chief Tom Cowan (Ret) and Deputy Chief Dave Goldrich. Bob Cowan, Joe Ascolese, Tom Cowan and Dave Goldrich not only supervised police work on the streets of Jersey City over the course of their careers, they were in the street working side by side with the Jersey City Police Officers they oversaw.”

Every person on the Cowan Investigations team is professional, resourceful, and most importantly, they are familiar with the area and with the work that they are doing. If you are looking for a private investigator that is the best (literally), give Bob Cowan a call for a 30-minute free consultation.

As you can see, private investigators are not just hired in books. There are many uses for a private investigator, so if you need one yourself, consider Cowan Investigations.
